Italy: Beta 80 Group at the Committee of Operations of EENA

It will be an expert of Beta 80 Group to preside over the EENA (European Emergency Number Association) Committee of Operations.

Luca Bergonzi, a member of the Emergency Management Systems’ division in Beta 80 Group, is the new “Co-Chair of the Operations Committee” of EENA. The one year assignment strengthens the role of Beta 80 Group within the European Association that was born to ensure the spread and development of the Unique Emergency Number 112 service in all member States of the EU.

The Operations Committee of EENA has many objectives, including: spreading the best practices for the implementation of the 112 models in Europe, defining requirements and directions for the development of emergency services and monitoring the several development models of the 112 service among the member States.
