USA: Beta 80 International at CALNENA in San Diego

From February 29 till March 3, Beta 80 International took part in the CALNENA 9-1-1 Mission Critical Training, held at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay in San Diego. The California Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (CALNENA) supports the proliferation of technology that has enhanced the public’s access to emergency services.

The purpose of CALNENA is to foster a reliable and continuously improved emergency telephone number network through research, planning, training and education; represent its members before communications regulatory agencies and policy making bodies; and strive toward citizens having immediate access to emergency public safety services so that safety of human life, protection of property and civic welfare are benefited to the utmost degree.

Beta 80 has shown its disruptive new multi-CAD collaborative touch interface: The Tavolo™. It’s a state-of-the-art touch screen table that can be used for a wide variety of command and viewing functions required for PSAPs, Emergency Operations Centers, or any command and control facility, fixed or mobile. The Tavolo™ can display geographic information layers, live events, dispatches and any relevant real-time information through a simple Web Services integration. It come as part of the iO™ solution suite or it can be integrated with ANY CAD system.
