Beta 80 & Avaya at NENA 2017!

Beta 80 International & Avaya join forces at NENA Conference & Expo 2017.

WASHINGTON D.C., USA – Jun 15, 2017.  Beta 80 International and Avaya joined forces at NENA Conference & Expo 2017, one of the largest events for public safety professionals in North America that took place June 03-08 in San Antonio, Texas. The fair was an exciting opportunity to unveil Beta 80 and Avaya partnership and show our integrated solution platform and latest innovations in Public Safety Communications.

We were glad by the great response from our booth’s visitors, and were excited to see the interest in our solutions. The set up included a complete PSAP workstation where visitors could watch a demo of our platform, and at the same time experience Evosite Control Room’s console solution and Wey Tec’s smart keyboard. Another feature that got a great response was The Tavolo® Flex. Visitors could see a full demo of its multi touch screen capabilities and functionalities.

Beta 80 International and Avaya initially joined forces as DevConnect Technology Partnership  to support the needs of technology companies (ISV, IHV, SI and Service Provider) in the development, qualification and marketing of products & services that are synergistic with Avaya’s strategic goals and the needs of our customers.  In 2016, Beta 80 received the Avaya DevConnect New Partner of the Year Award for its iO® suite, an innovative and powerful Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) solution for e911 public safety and the cooperation between both companies has grown into an in-depth partnership, allowing the companies to progress to co-exhibit during NENA 2017.

“Avaya DevConnect Partnership means joining forces with a global Vendor that has the same understanding that we have on how much the Public Safety industry is in need of innovation. Avaya’s platform simplifies the delivery of compliance-tested solutions like ours, and is all part of an innovative vision of Public Safety; providing us with tools to develop the next generation of secure, reliable solutions for PSAPs and to accelerate their deployment time,” said Francesco Frugiuele, President & CEO, Beta 80 International.

“The Avaya-Beta 80 partnership will create a powerful source of innovation that will help propel public safety into the next generation of service to match citizen expectations” said Gregory L. Rohde, General Manager of Beta 80 International. “We are integrating an innovative leader in the telecommunications industry with a company that has over 25 years’ experience developing the best technology to provide tailored public safety solutions that will be a driving force towards NG 9-1-1.”

Beta 80 International’s iO® System integrates with the Avaya’s Aura® Platform to provide Call Taking, CAD, Mapping, Mobile Apps, Radio Integration and Reporting Services for 911 agencies as well as emergency medical services, fire departments and private medical services. The integrated solution helps PSAP call takers and dispatchers focus on their life-saving job tasks, and CAD managers to secure the proper governance for community emergency services.

Ready for next generation EMS, Fire and Law Enforcement PSAPs, iO® provides an agile and powerful CAD solution supporting PSAP operators in focusing on their life-saving job tasks and CAD managers in securing the proper governance of emergency services supplied to their Community. Leveraging on a single, easy-to-use CAD interface, 911 call takers and dispatchers can now streamline incidents and dispatches management as well as efficiently handle data delivered within incoming calls.

“The integration of Beta 80 and Avaya creates a complete end-to-end solution with global reach,” said Mark J. Fletcher, Chief Architect – Worldwide Public Safety Solutions of Avaya. “Together, through our DevConnect Program, our companies will embrace the future of NG9-1-1 through innovation delivering new ideas around technology and services for PSAPs worldwide. The key to success lies in collaboration. Together, we can provide the support PSAPs need to keep pace and take control of the complexity during their NG9-1-1 transition.”

NENA 2017 was an unforgettable experience! Thank you for visiting our booth and we are looking forward to NENA 2018!
