Beta 80 And NexGen Global Technologies Partner To Provide 9-1-1 Centers With Text-to-911
WASHINGTON, D.C. – October, 2017. Beta 80, a leading provider of emergency communications services, announced a strategic partnership with NexGen Global Technologies, pioneer in the development of a unique E9-1-1 Multimedia Communications system, MIRS911, which allows citizens to send photos, videos and text into 9-1-1 Centers in real time. Beta 80 together with NexGen Global Technologies can provide a solution that enables public safety agencies to more effectively manage critical incidents by permitting Text-to-9-1-1 as well as capturing and transmitting multi-media intelligence exchanged between citizens and first responders.

BRUSSELS – October 2017. On 16 to 18 October Beta 80 was part of a significant workshop – organized by the European Emergency Number Association – to discuss our industry’s crucial issues and share experiences, best practices and ideas. Mr. Luca Bergonzi -our EMEA Sales Executive- along with 100 other EENA members, joined a conversation covering 12 key emergency topic which produced technical, operational and legal requirements documents

Beta 80 CAD in the recently inaugurated 112 PSAP in Bolzano
BOLZANO – ITALY. – October, 19, 2017. The Trentino Alto Adige Region just inaugurated its newest first level PSAP in Bolzano, which will serve an Alpine area of 7,400 km² and a population of 600.000. The new state-of-the-art PSAP features 10 workstations complete with Beta 80’s emergency management software suite which allows the 15 call takers to record, register, qualify, localize and dispatch the calls to the most appropriate agency. Due to the high volume of tourists and visitors throughout the year, the PSAP includes a translation service in 38 languages, a record for Italy.

We are proud to announce that Beta 80 has integrated Waze traffic information into its CAD.This integration will provide PSAPs with even better real-time traffic information; including road works, alerts, jams and incidents. Agencies may now directly alert citizens of incidents and problem areas on the road. Furthermore, Beta 80 has joined the Waze Connected Citizen Program (CCP) a network of Waze partners who have additional sources of data not found within the Waze app.

Four new PSAPs in three months
Milan, Italy – May 30th, 2017. In just ninety days, from February to April 2017, Beta 80 Group has launched four new PSAPs, including one covering the entire territory of the Republic of Albania. This is the result of Beta 80 Group’s twenty-five-year experience, as well as a constant technological evolution with iO® CAD at the very center. iO® is our in-house developed Computer Aided Dispatch software suite that can adapt to the needs of each territory and operational module.
